Probably the most shocking announcement of the Nintendo Direct so far is the fact that a Dark Souls Amiibo will launch alongside the game on May 25th. And I'm say this because the contrast levels feel unnatural and nowhere near to what I remember from my experience with the first Dark Souls game.

The original Dark Souls was an fantastic game, to such a level that it pretty much had a cult following, considering that the Remastered version of the game is probably going to be equally successful.

A Solaire of Astora amiibo is also arriving alongside the game for use on Switch.

It's not just the Dark Souls Remastered network test that fans should be excited for.

Moreover, Nintendo confirmed that Dark Souls Remastered will offer a network test ahead of launch. We also don't know whether the network test will be available to all or will be run on an invite-only basis.

Remastered network test will be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. In turn, this has led to him becoming one of the more recognizable characters from the Dark Souls series, with references to him in TV shows and other video games. The Solaire of Astora amiibo carries a MSRP of $15.99.
