Longtime NBA Agent Dan Fegan Killed In Car Crash Near Aspen

The NBA was jolted Sunday by news that longtime agent Dan Fegan was killed in a auto accident.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened Sunday morning as the SUV tried to merge onto Highway 82 outside of Aspen.

"The vehicles collided around 9:22 a.m.as the SUV attempted to merge on the highway from Smith Way road at about mile marker 34, according to Blankenship".

Fegan had represented standouts such as DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, Dwight Howard and Ricky Rubio before controversially and publicly splitting with his agency, Independent Sports & Entertainment, last year, which resulted in a lawsuit.

Updates on their conditions were not available as of Sunday night.

There was one passenger in the bus, but the passenger and driver did not suffer injuries.

Fegan's family released an official statement through a spokesman named Terry Fahn, who represents the Sitrick and Company after the shocking loss. "We ask for privacy at this hard time". He was sacked "for cause" by Independent Sports and Entertainment in March of 2017.
