Ayton is Arizona's leading scorer with 19.6 points and 10.9 rebounds for Arizona, which is in first place in the Pac-12.

The Oregon Ducks kept pace with three-point shots from McIntosh, Troy Brown and MiKyle McIntosh.

Shortly after the news of Miller not coaching was made public, Shareef O'Neal posted on Twitter that he was de-committing from Arizona.

Miller reportedly offered a third party $100,000 in exchange for DeAndre Ayton's commitment to the team.

Kelly informed the UA on Sunday morning that he planned to issue the statement on his own.

Arizona associate head coach Lorenzo Romar directed the team, and Ayton played during a 98-93 loss in overtime. Trier is appealing his eligibility to the NCAA after trace amounts of a banned substance in his system triggered a positive test for the second time in two seasons.

Miller did not coach Arizona in Saturday's game, and returned home separately from his team.

"Joe told me verbatim he will help us get all the Arizona players so put his feet to the fire", Dawkins wrote in one email from the summer of 2016.

Local fans say they are interested to find out if there will be any immediate systematic changes to college basketball, but despite the situation, will continue to support the University of Arizona basketball program.

Arizona star freshman DeAndre Ayton played last night against OR, much to the surprise of many. For now, my thoughts are with our team. It's tough to envision the Wildcats winning this game, and NCAA futures tickets on Arizona - now at 15-1 odds - can be used as toilet paper. He could still be the next coach taken down by the Federal Bureau of Investigation probe-Louisville's Rick Pitino was the first.

"They got the crowd into it, got some of those turnovers started", UO coach Dana Altman said of Smith and Kigab. Arizona, ranked 14th in the country, is 22-6 this season heading into Saturday night's game.

Ayton finished with 28 points and 18 rebounds, despite being under-utilized for a majority of the second half.

Also Friday, Yahoo Sports cited emails from Dawkins to his colleagues at ASM discussing player bartering with former Arizona assistant coaches Joe Pasternack (now the head coach at UC Santa Barbara) and Richardson (fired last month).

During Gordon's one-and-done season at Arizona, the Wildcats reached the Elite Eight but lost in a regional final to Wisconsin in overtime 64-63.
