Final Fantasy XV PC Demo Coming This Month, Half-Life Costume Revealed

The company has partnered up with Valve to bring everyone's favorite crowbar wielding silent protagonist from Half-Life - or rather his likeness - Gordon Freeman to Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, for an unlikely crossover.

The Windows version of Final Fantasy XV was announced at Gamescom 2017, with the game's director saying that development on PC was "100 times" easier than the console versions.

"Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition is a lovely JRPG which fans who have yet to enjoy the series' latest should definitely jump on".

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition releases next month on March 6, 2018.

Alongside the demo, Square Enix also revealed some of the bonuses coming to Final Fantasy 15: Windows Edition, and they're pretty ridiculous.

The last Half-Life game released in 2007. On February 26, 2018, people will be able to get a trial version from Origin, Steam and the Microsoft Store that allows them to play through the game's first chapter. These shirts actually have in-game benefits, from increasing strength to improving health recovery.

Those on the Microsoft Store will gain access to a set of Phoenix Downs and Elixirs to use from the start of the game, along with a special sword. Finally, if you grab the game via Origin, you get a special set of auto decals by preordering ahead of March 6.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will support up to 8k resolution with HDR10 and Dobly Atmos, as well as mod support and all released DLC and updates. It's rated T for Teen.
