Why Amy Schumer only tried on one wedding dress

Comedienne and producer Amy Schumer got married chef Chris Fischer in a small ceremony in Malibu, California.

"It was lovely", Lawrence said.

A third image really highlights the pair's happiness as Amy tenderly clutches Chris' arm while beaming as the sun sets behind them.

According to Evans, the process of choosing her wedding gown was equally as chill: "[Amy] stepped right into [the Monique Lhuillier dress] and we just knew it was right, " the fashion guru shared, adding that the gown was the *only* one the I Feel Pretty actress tried on (!) "It was an effortless and simple sort of magic to putting on that dress".

"Notice my shirt was accidentally undone the whole time", she explained to ET. "It was very sudden, but it was, I was sobbing. his vows were stunning".

The actress also gushed in her chat with ET that Amy's groom Chris wrote his own vows: 'It was handsome.

Jennifer said that some guests at the wedding wanted to walk on the beach, but she told them: 'No.

She wrote the simple comment 'Yup, ' alongside eight photos of the wedding, including one of the couple holding hands and smiling at each other. "It looks like I was like, 'Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?" I never got the beach. "I just don't care, '" she deadpanned.

The couple has been rumored to have started dating in November after seen having a romantic dinner together at a cafe in New York City.

For those who questioned the hasty nuptials, Schumer posted a response on her Instagram which stated that she was not pregnant and instead of wedding gifts, she urged friends to send donations to gun safety organization, Everytown.

Others photographed at the intimate beachside wedding was Schumer's celebrity friends, including Chelsea Handler, Larry David and "Love" actress Claudia O'Doherty.
