Beginning in May, low-priced carrier Frontier Airlines will offer seasonal nonstop flights from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to Denver and Philadelphia.

Last year, Frontier added 11 new flights from Tampa to cities such as Indianapolis, Kansas City, Providence, Columbus, Minneapolis-St. Green Airport to Austin, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia starting in April.

Frontier Airlines will resume service at the Branson airport this summer. Introductory prices will start at $39. Flights to Myrtle Beach begin May 21. "This announcement today will make it easier and more affordable than ever for people to visit our area".

"It's always exciting to welcome new air service, and Frontier Airlines' decision to open up three markets speaks to Myrtle Beach's increasing appeal", said Bill Golden, CEO of Golf Tourism Solutions, the agency responsible for promoting Myrtle Beach as a golf destination.

Frontier flies one of the youngest fleets in the industry consisting of 79 Airbus A320 Family jet aircraft. "We look forward to driving new visitors to and from The Seaside Golf Capital of the World with our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right".

All will be served on new A-320 aircraft.

"There's no non-stop service from (Savannah) to Denver and we're now taking you as far west as you can get and we're going to be the only low cost carrier flying to Philadelphia and we think that's a great start", Freed said. Frontier's young fleet also ensures the company will continue to keep fares low and that customers will enjoy a pleasant and reliable experience flying with the airline. For example, customers can purchase travel options like bags and seat selections either a la carte or in one low-cost bundle called the WORKS (sm).
