Whilst the home World Cup kit will be the plain, clean dark green shirt; Nike got real funky on the away kit & other elements in the collection.

Nike is the official kits sponsor of Nigeria's national teams.

The new England kits are to go on sale next month, around the time of the next worldwide break where the team will be wearing them for the first time.

In a Nike Football video Completesportsnigeria.com viewed on Wednesday, Super Eagles stars Mikel Obi, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho were seen reviewing the new designs, which also included those made for Nigerian fans.

Reacting to the new designs, Mikel said: "I can see the players going insane over this one".

The jersey designs predominantly show light green background with bold white V-shaped patterns drawn on it.

"When football is on, everything stops. Moreover, they celebrate everything we relish about our culture".

Nigeria are using Nike as their kit manufacturer after having been fitted by Adidas for their last two World Cup campaigns - in 2010 and 2014.

Iwobi said it was ideal and different. We are also introduced to the athlete journey pieces which we'll likely see our players wear off the pitch.

Nigeria have been pitted against Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in World Cup Group D.
