Battle for Azeroth pre-purchase is live

We'll see the Battle for Azeroth descend on World of Warcraft sometime this summer, according to a press release received yesterday. With new sub-races to choose from, new areas to explore, and dozens of new content to be explored, Blizzard has increased the hype by revealing pre-order bonuses and a release date. That being said, players won't simply be able to jump in and grab these new races, a number of requirements will need to be met in order for them to become accessible. It's not clear how much of the quests you can complete.

Battle for Azeroth is heavily inspired by Warcraft's real-time strategy past and aims to push the Horde and Alliance back into competing against each other.

Buyers of both editions will receive a level 110 character boost so that you can dive straight in to the new content without going through the grind. Once the race is available, players can then create their new character, and these new races will begin at level 20. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with tons of in-game loot spanning across many Blizzard franchise. What's more, the pre-purchase will also allow players to start unlocking Nightborne Elves, Hightmountain Tauren, Void Elves, and Lightforged Draenei, four of the six new Allied Races being introduced with Battle for Azeroth. Everyone can enjoy the adorable baby Tortollan pet.

Pre-orders for the game are already live, and the stampede to get them has caused trouble with Blizzard's purchasing servers across multiple games, as I discovered last night while playing Hearthstone.

-Overwatch®: "Champion your faction on the battlefields of tomorrow with Horde and Alliance voice lines for Torbjörn and emotes for Tracer; sprays featuring Anduin, Sylvanas, Jaina, and Varok Saurfang; and player icons representing Kul Tiras and Zandalar".

The Azeroth is Burning card back will add firey style to your favorite Hearthstone decks.

As you can tell from the epic cinematic trailer, Battle for Azeroth will focus on the ongoing conflict between the Alliance and Horde.
