Woody Allen's adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, again accused the film-maker of molesting her as a child during a tearful televised interview that was broadcast yesterday.

Rebecca Hall: The actress, who first worked with Allen on 2008's "Vicky Christina Barcelona" and stars in his latest film, "A Rainy Day in NY", announced earlier this month that she plans to donate her salary from the upcoming movie to the Time's Up campaign, which was launched earlier this year to promote gender equality. The Tick star Newman, who also appeared in A Rainy Day in NY, announced via Twitter that he donated his salary from the film to RAINN.

After seeing Dylan Farrow speaking out on television on January 18, 2018, he announced he would never work with Woody Allen again.

Farrow has stood by her claim, which first surfaced in the wake of her parents' bitter split when Allen left the actress and activist Mia Farrow for Soon-Yi Previn, her adoptive daughter from a previous marriage who was 21 at the time.

Since then, Allen has faced renewed questions over his alleged behaviour as he prepares for the release of his latest film, A Rainy Day In New York, in an industry coming to grips with its history of sexual harassment and abuse.

"But even though the Farrow family is cynically using the opportunity afforded by the Time's Up movement to repeat this discredited allegation, that doesn't make it any more true today than it was in the past".

While her mother, Mia Farrow, was fighting for the custody of the three children, she told the police that Allen used to abuse her daughter since she was only seven years old. "Every step of the way, my mother has told me to tell the truth". Dylan Farrow became visibly emotional.

"He's lying and he's been lying for so long", Farrow told CBS This Morning in the interview that aired Thursday, breaking down into tears when watching a clip of Allen denying the alleged assault. For years, Farrow has claimed that Allen sexually abused her when she was a child. As a "mother and a woman", she wrote that the story of Farrow broke "her heart". "And that they are enough to change things".

The day after the Weinstein accusation broke in full force I was shooting a day of work on Woody Allen's latest movie in NY.

The director is also facing a backlash from industry folk in Hollywood. "My first impulse was that I had done something wrong".

Further contradicting the assessment of Chalamet's representatives is the fact that one of Chalamet's co-stars in Allen's latest film did speak out in support of Dylan Farrow.

Farrow first spoke out publicly about the allegations in a 2014 New York Times essay. She also said that he had been inappropriate at other times, including asking her to get into bed with him while he wore only underwear.
