Kevin Spacey Investigated for 3rd Alleged Sexual Assault in London

Scotland Yard has opened a third investigation into sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey, police said Wednesday. Police officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault segment of the police are now looking at Kevin Spacey. It is alleged a man assaulted another man (Victim 1) in 2008 in Lambeth, ' Met police told in a statement.

Following the first allegation of sexual assault, Netflix sacked Spacey from House of Cards and made a decision to not move ahead with a film starring Spacey as Gore Vidal.

Star Trek: Discover actor Anthony Rapp who the first to come forward and claim Spacey assaulted him when Rapp was 14. Scotland Yard had initiated its primary investigation into those charges soon after. Since that time, numerous people have come forward with similar accusations, prompting him to be fired from Netflix's "House of Cards" and investigations to be launched by police.

He was removed from Ridley Scott's film All the Money in the World that also stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams in pivotal roles.

Spacey had served as the artistic director at London's Old Vic theatre from 2004 to 2015 and the venue had claimed last November that it had received 20 complaints of inappropriate behaviour during his tenure.

Spacey has not commented on the accusations that are being investigated and has not been charged with a crime.
