We also see a haunted-looking Serena Joy, an anguished Aunt Lydia (who was shown to be steadily more and more conflicted last time around), and Commander Waterford apparently preparing to execute a prisoner.

Will she finally make it to Canada?

The cast and crew were obviously elusive during their slot on the Television Critics Association press tour on Sunday.

And if that doesn't have you excited, Elizabeth Moss' recent comments on the next season surely will. The premiere will bring us two new episodes (thank goodness) and then we'll have to wait a week for each episode after that.

Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. To help tell that story, creator and executive producer Bruce Miller reveals that Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomei, most recently seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, will guest star on the series. "There is resistance within her, and that is a big part of this season".

"She's still the mother of this series". Banners are held aloft at what looks like a protest, Offred and Nick embrace and the final show is of a steely-eyed Moss.

Check out the first official teaser for Season 2, as well as a few mesmerizing first look photos, below. In the first season, Hulu released the first three episodes at once, with the rest coming once a week after that. She does have the baby but it gets taken away from her.

Hulu has finally released the trailer for season two of "The Handmaid's Tale". The first two episodes of the 13-episode second season will debut on Hulu on April 25. Moss' Offred character is a breeder who is forced to have sex with Gilead leaders in an effort to conceive at a time when most women have become infertile.

E! News spoke with Emmy victor Ann Dowd, Aunt Lydia on the series, after she received her first Golden Globe nomination ever, and she dropped some nuggets of information about the second season.

Her journey is unlikely to get less unsafe, or painful, anytime soon.
