After her stunning performance in Netflix's Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown is set to star in a film series based on Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes Mysteries book, which explore the adventures of Sherlock Holmes' younger sister Enola. The character is the teenage sister of famed mystery solver Sherlock Holmes, who's already renowned and 20 years her senior at the time the books take place. Not sure even Eleven could pull that off.

The 13-year-old Emmy-nominated actress just wrapped up filming Legendary's Godzilla: King of Monsters, which is set to debut in 2019. Now, she's taking that popularity and making the leap to the big screen as the star and producer of her own film franchise.

The novels feature several characters that Sherlock fans will be familiar with, including Enola and Sherlock's brother Mycroft, and Sherlock's partner Dr Watson.

Stranger Things turned Millie Bobby Brown from a normal 13-year-old to an worldwide superstar, there is no doubt about it. Come to think of it, the Olsens also used their company to produce a young girl detective series in their straight-to-video series The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley as well.

In addition to starring, Brown will produce the adaptation through her PCMA Productions banner, while Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes oversee for Legendary.
