LG is gearing up to showcase its first 4K UHD projector at the upcoming CES 2018 event. LG touts that its 4K UHD projector from the HU80K series is nearly half the size of conventional 4K UHD projectors and has the same capability of projecting up to 150-inch 4K UHD picture on the wall. That picture can get awfully bright, too; LG says it tops out at 2,500 lumens, which makes it the company's brightest projector yet and puts it on par with what's on the market today. So users are able to move it to another room if they wish to do so.

The product is also capable of playing content produced on the High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10 standard. This is actually LG's brightest projector to date. Of course what would a "cinematic experience" be without some great sound.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said of the sound quality given the two puny 7W speakers that the setup accommodates. The portable size of the projector and its unique upright position has been made possible by its in-built mirrorless I-shaped engine that enables it to project correct images whether it is placed on the floor, wall mounted or hanged from the ceiling. It can be easily connected to an external speaker via Bluetooth, HDMI or optical output.

LG says that its the design and build "gives the projector the capability to show flawless images whether it is placed on the ground, mounted on the wall or hanging from the ceiling". When it comes to the content, customers won't have any problems in finding anything to watch.

LG HU80KA projector includes a webOS 3.5 smart TV interface to access online 4K streaming services.

We are pretty excited to see this portable 4K projector in action at the CES 2018. Nevertheless, all the information about this awesome projector is anticipated to be revealed during its announcement at CES 2018.
