That's two full days before Timberlake is set to perform live during Super Bowl LII's Halftime Show in Minnesota, a state that knows a thing or two about the great outdoors.

Actually, looks like the singer is skipping over country and going straight to woodsman.

Along with the album announcement, Timberlake also teased a January 5 release date for the lead single.

ABC/Adam RoseJustin Timberlake rang in 2018 with the man who was known as "JT" before he was even born: James Taylor. His last single was "Can't Stop The Feeling" off the Trolls soundtrack. This album, he says, is inspired by his 2-year-old son, Silas and his wife, actress Jessica Biel - both make an appearance in the minute-long teaser.

Man of the Woods will be Timberlake's follow-up to The 20/20 Experience, which was released in 2013. In a 2016 interview with the BBC, Timberlake declined to describe it as a country album but acknowledged the influence. "But more so than any other album I've written (it's inspired by) where I'm from".

Max Martin, Shellback, and Timbaland are also collaborators on the album. The Friends with Benefits star, removed a piece of Jackson's outfit during his "Rock Your Body" lyrics. With everything being released before his Super Bowl performance, time can only tell if he will perform any music from the album.
