The new Rs.93 plan from Airtel offers 1GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited local and STD voice calls as well as 100 free SMS per day.

Comparing the Airtel Rs.93 plan with the Reliance Jio's Rs.98 plan, Jio offers 2.1 GB data while Airtel offers only 1GB of data. Idea Cellular recorded average 4G upload speed 6.4 mbps in the month of September, while Vodafone registered 5.8 mbps speed. For ₹199, Jio prepaid customers are offered unlimited local and STD voice calls, unlimited SMS, free roaming, and, 1.2 GB of 4G data per day for 28 days.

This new pack overtakes Jio's Rs 98 pack which offers 2.1 GB of 4G data, with unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls and 140 SMS per day with daily limit of 0.15 GB. Users can use up the entire 1GB of data in a day or over 10 days.

In past few months, Airtel has also followed the path of cheap plan, giving unlimited data and voice calls to lure customers just like RJio.

Aside from that, Airtel also has other prepaid packs that offer comparative data and call benefits.

Its validity is also 28 days.

Airtel has rolled out a new Rs. 93 prepaid recharge pack that takes on the Jio Rs. 98 pack, another retaliation in its ongoing battle with the newcomer competitor, Reliance Jio.

Under this plan, we can get 1GB of data for the day, and it is valid up to 28 days.

In a bid to circumvent Jio's newly launched plans for 2018, Airtel has launched a new plan to tempt users. Additionally, the company also offers 100 free SMSes with this pack. Users will be able to make free calls on all the local and STD numbers.

Under this plan, we can get 100 SMS per day. It gives unlimited calls and messages are restricted to 100 per day. According to TRAI, the top three operators are Jio, Vodafone and Airtel.
