Villa told Politico in an interview on Friday that Lewandowski slapped her on the backside during a holiday party at the Trump International Hotel in Washington in late November.

"I'm wearing this silver suit and stretchy trousers, and after the photo, he smacks my ass really hard", Villa said. "It was completely demeaning and shocking".

She also alleged that when she told Lewandowski - who was sacked by the Trump campaign in June 2016 - that she could report him for sexual harassment, he responded: "Go ahead, I work in the private sector", before slapping her again. I never touched you.

Villa's run for office has been supported by both Ivanka Trump, who Villa said offered words of encouragement at a Christmas party this year, and President Trump, who tweeted "good luck" to Villa in October "on her decision to enter the wonderful world of politics".

Politico said it reached out to Lewandowski for comment but did not receive a response.

Villa made waves previous year when she wore a "Make America Great Again" dress to the Grammys in support of then-candidate Donald Trump. In a tweet, Villa said that she was "shocked and embarrassed" by Lewandowski's behavior. "As a matter of fact, I have never even met you".

Born in April 1986 in Orange, California, Villa, also known as Princess Joy Villa, is an American singer, songwriter and political commentator. It was only after the eyewitness reported it to Politico that Villa agreed to share her account of it. He is running for Congress in Florida, with Trump's endorsement. She is married to Danish writer and photographer Thorsten Overgaard since December 2016.

"Corey laughed in my face and ran away", Villa told Politico, which corroborated Villa's account with a witness. It felt like it was all a big joke to him.

"I'm sure she's just delusional & he didn't touch her". "It was shocking and gross".

Villa added that she was motivated to tell her story by other women sharing their stories of harassment.
