We all knew that Hideo Kojima, Norman Reedus, and Guillermo del Toro weren't attending The Game Awards just to present awards and show their faces, but also give us a brand new Death Stranding trailer.

Following a second showing of the trailer at PSX, Cerny started by teasing everyone with hints of a playable version.

Death Stranding now has at least four to five hours of gameplay, and those hours make these weird trailers make sense.

Death Stranding is a Sony-published game, and I have to confess, when it was announced I wasn't sure whether it was set for PS4 or the inevitable PS5.

At last night's Game Awards show, Kojima was there with main protagonist Norman Reedus to show the audience an update on the first game from Kojima Productions which releases exclusively on PlayStation 4. After the trailer premiered, Reedus and Kojima shared a sweet moment on stage where even he seemed a bit confused by Kojima's trailer.

If not for Andrew House, Kojima said, we wouldn't be seeing a baby doing a thumbs-up. Yep, Kojima's two favourite celebrities come together for the first time in this trailer, somewhat linking the previous trailers each of their characters received since the game's announcement back at E3 2016. Hopefully we'll see gameplay soon.
