Better than most December days, relatively mild with eventually emerging sun. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s to near 70 again. Clearing skies behind the front will give way to dry conditions and clear skies with overnight lows in the 50s.

Wednesday Night.Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 30s. Temperatures will warm to the mid 50s after a chilly start in the 30s Saturday morning. Highs on Tuesday will be in the lower 70s.

Friday will see a 30 percent chance of light snow with a high of 38 and a low around 25.

High pressure will take control of our weather this weekend.

Wednesday through Friday look like they will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs staying in the mid-50s to low 60s and winds will be out of the west/ northwest at 5-10 miles per hour. A breeze from the northwest taking the edge of these temperatures though. For related traffic news, check out Dr. Gridlock.

A cloudy start today with some rain for much of England and Wales although this will clear southeastwards to sunny spells.

A light southeast wind will shift to the northwest at 5 miles per hour.

Skies will be mostly clear across Mid-Michigan overnight.

More clouds will move into the area Tuesday, this will be ahead of a cold front. Temps Tuesday morning will be in the 50s before falling into the 40s for the afternoon. Some areas of the state will reach the 70s with mostly sunny skies. This could be the coldest temperatures of the season so far. Looks like we'll be stuck with highs no better than the 40s for quite a while thereafter. Once the front sweeps offshore, some sharply colder air should arrive later next week and may stick around through the middle of the month as a colder weather pattern sets up.
