The application will help you understand, control and save on mobile data.

Google has launched a new app which can save the mobile data in your smartphone totally just by itself. It also seeks permission to make and manage phone calls, send and view SMS messages and access device's location.

Google has published its Best of 2017 list, highlighting the most popular apps, games, movies, books, and songs of the year.

With Datally, you can save up to 30% of mobile data by controlling data usage of every app that you have installed. Datally will tell you if you're near public Wi-Fi and help you connect.

Datally will also send notifications to users to switch on the app's data saver function if it's now switched off. This information is displayed with the help of a little bubble that is similar to chat heads. First, it allows users to see data usage on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis and get personalised recommendations for how they can save more. You will be prompted to enable connection request by blocking data using VPN.

While other finance apps boasted of one of a kind features, Google Finance only provided the basic functionalities.

The key point here is that while these settings are hidden behind their fair share of menus and submenus, Datally brings all these to the front and presents them to you in a very simple manner: to save data or not to save data.

Datally works on Android smartphones with Lollipop (5.0) or newer versions of the Google-backed mobile operating system.

Google is finally banning apps from its official Play Store that include lockscreen ads. The controls placed on the front and center will help you to view real-time app data usage. Plus, if you are more inclined to sports, your favorite sports teams can also be tracked with Google Now.

The data usage metrics integrated into the Datally app helps you to learn about the data usage, history including trends separated by either time or by each app.
