The OnePlus 5T was unveiled on November 16 and went on sale twice in India within a few days. The smartphone is now only available in Midnight Black colour.

Customers on Idea carrier will get a 1,008GB 4G mobile data offer, with the access to a Rs 357 per month pack with 2GB data per day, for 18 months.

Priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs 37,999 for the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, the 5T is one of the best affordable smartphones you can purchase in the market right now. OnePlus prides itself on being a company that actively listens to its fans, so if enough people start nagging for a Lava Red 5T in other areas, our chances of bringing this beauty outside of China might not be too shabby.

Furthermore, the company in partnership with HDFC is giving Rs 1500 instant discount for consumers who buy the OnePlus 5T with either HDFC credit or debit cards.

The smartphone will be available in two storage variants. The company offers the OnePlus Protect Plan that costs Rs. 2,099 and covers accidental damages and liquid spills.

And lastly, OnePlus 5T buyers will also get a one year Zomato Gold membership worth Rs 999 which is now valid in select cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The 5T sports a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.

OnePlus is finally available for purchase in India. After all, last year's 3T rolled out, in smaller or larger quantities, in a grand total of three paint jobs, none of which stood out as much as the Lava Red OP5T.

The secondary camera module, previously occupied by a 20MP Sony IMX350 sensor paired with a telephoto lens, has been swapped with a 20MP Sony IMX376K sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a focal length of 27.22mm. The smartphone still doesn't support wireless charging but retains the Dash Charging capabilities introduced with the OnePlus 3. The fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back.

OnePlus added a Face Unlock feature on the OnePlus 5T that relies on face recognition to unlock the smartphone.
