Broncos to start Paxton Lynch at QB

Lynch will replace Brock Osweiler, who started the team's last three games.

Lynch would start two games last season while Trevor Siemian was injured.

Our Free NFL Pick: Coming into this match-up, the Broncos are desperate for a win to break their 6 game losing streak.

The Broncos have gone through the wringer this season.

Osweiler went 0-3 as the starter for Denver while completing 53 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and five interceptions. He averaged a rating of 71.4. Devontae Booker ran for 44 yards on 14 carries and C.J. Anderson added 37 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, while Demaryius Thomas led the team with 5 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown.

The Denver Broncos are done with the predictable carousel at quarterback, the one with two horses that lead to predictably frightful results in Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian. Defensively, the Raiders combined for a sack and a forced fumble but that was about it as the Patriots racked up 420 yards of offense in the game.

The second Osweiler experiment hasn't turned out all that well for the team, either. The Broncos' playoff hopes are likely cooked at this point, and everything that happens from here on out will be geared toward building confidence heading into next season. Given the current direction of the team over the last month and a half, there's a chance they'll have a high draft pick and an opportunity to select another QB to take the reins of the franchise moving forward if they don't have confidence in Lynch. But, I talked to the trainers and the coaches, and like I said, they've done a good job so far and I feel great.
