O.J. Simpson's attorney Malcolm LaVergne is teeing off on TMZ after the gossip site published a report that the former National Football League star, who was recently released from prison, was drunk and unruly at a Las Vegas hotel bar.

Security showed up, and though Simpson was cordial to them, they removed him; he is now been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan, TMZ reported. The disgraced gridiron great was reportedly pleasant to the guards. A 70-year-old man, let alone OJ mf Simpson, can only party for so long before things start to go south. Reports are coming out that last night OJ got a little too hammered and was booted from the Cosmopolitan hotel in Vegas.

Simpson is back in trouble in Las Vegas.

LaVergne says Simpson was neither drunk nor belligerent and only tends to have one drink when he is socializing, WXYZ reports. Around midnight he was heard exchanging angry words with the hotel staff, and he then began breaking glasses, according to celebrity website TMZ. Listen, I don't blame him.

Attorney Malcolm LaVergne on Thursday told The Associated Press that Simpson received a trespass notice from the hotel Wednesday.

A witness, meanwhile, spotted Simpson inside the hotel shortly after midnight.

Prosecutors said that Simpson led a group of men who used threats, guns and force to take photographs, footballs and other items from memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley on September 13, 2007. What better way to celebrate a release from prison after 9 years than parading around Vegas?
