Here's a look at what major retailers have said about their hours for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

Best Buy released its Black Friday deals on November 8 and is making many of them - including discounts on Apple Watches and iPads - available early from now until Saturday, November 11. Store maps will be available on the Walmart app beginning November 14, and will be available day-of in stores. It is also eliminating some of the crowd-control measures it has used in the past, such as handing out wristbands for the most in-demand deal items.

Hours: Stores open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving this year, online sale starts 12:01 a.m. central time Monday, Nov. 20 at Kohls.com.


Thanksgiving hours will be from 6 p.m.to 12 a.m., according to a mall employee.

Sears says most of its stores will be open from 6 p.m.to midnight on Thanksgiving, though some will be closed for the holiday.
