Users will have to wait until Apple releases more information regarding a permanent bug fix for this problem.

Apple is blaming the most recent IOS update for the glitch. Now you can use Apple Pay to pay and get paid right in Messages, or by asking Siri.

The BBC has contacted Apple for comment. So here's how to fix it while Apple works on a patch.

Apple Pay Cash is integrated into the Messages app, meaning you can send and receive money as you would a text message.

But a twist to the upgrade is the "killing" of battery life linked to iOS 11.1 as expressed by lots who users who expressed their frustration on social media. There's no fee to use Apple Pay Cash with a debit card.

There, you'll be shown an option to add money, with the minimum being $10.

Apple said this issue will be fixed in a future software update. Apple's iOS 11.1 is the latest causality.

Users will be able to add money to the card or transfer it out to their bank accounts. If you use the Apple Watch you can secure the transaction through by entering a passcode.

While not the first to integrate with a messaging service- Snapchat and Facebook Messenger already offer the ability to send money to friends- Apple claims its advantage comes through the millions of people already relying on iMessage and the Messages app.

The workaround makes use of the Text Replacement feature built into iOS.

In spite of the bugs like the one with the autocorrect engine, iOS 11.1 is one of the major iOS releases after the launch of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the iPhone X.

Transactions funded with a debit card are free, while a 3% fee applies to credit card transactions.
