Whoever sold Matic to United should be sacked by Chelsea

SCOTT MCTOMINAY WILL be a Manchester United star, according to his team-mate Nemanja Matic. He has played every minute in the league since, helping United to second place in the table, five points behind Manchester City.

"I was surprised when [Matic's] agent called me to say 'do you want him?' " Mourinho told Sky Sports News. Normally he's very direct and objective, he doesn't waste time, he doesn't try to get people to be interested in his players to improve their situation at their club.

Matic left the London club after three and a half years to re-join former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Alongside the added rivalry that has arisen between Mourinho and Conte, Sunday's match has the potential for fireworks - though the former has sought to play down the clash. Chelsea have been facing some extravagant injury issues and with N'Golo Kante still a doubt, the players need to be on their toes given that Matic and Herrera have been performing really well.

"I promise you I go to Stamford Bridge the way I go to the Emirates, the way I go to any big match".

"In Chelsea, [I selected] the youngest player ever to play in the Champions League, I think, in Dominic Solanke - again, with a manager who never gives a chance to young guys".

"But then it becomes something normal". You know the story, Mourinho lost his job with Chelsea hovering just above the relegation zone, and it took the experience of Guus Hiddink to steer us to a tenth place finish.

'If they continue in this way.I think this is the big problem for all the teams, if they continue in this way, it will be very hard to fight for the title but for sure, we have to try to do our best in every game and I think until now, we deserve to have these points'.
