I can accept stories that the club are prepared to sack me and the players are not happy, but putting another person in it is not right. See, it never happened. "Sometimes if I decide to play with two strikers, maybe I don't know".

Antonio Conte has addressed the rumours surrounding Carlo Ancelotti being lined up to replace him as "bullsh**".

"I knew I could risk something by playing him, but I think it was very positive for him to start the game and to know that now I can count on him for part of the next games".

A Chelsea spokesman interrupted the questioning to dismiss the veracity of that story, but Conte went on a rant.

There have also been newspaper stories claiming Carlo Ancelotti could be on his way back to the club as a replacement for his fellow Italian.

"It's not good that this person has to send me a message to tell me "I'm sorry but this is not true, I'm sorry, if you want me to do an interview I'm ready".

The Chelsea manager is understood to be under growing pressure from above with his side nine points off the Premier League summit.

"Why put another person in this b******t? Why? I don't like to say it but when you play against better players you mentally switch on a little bit more". "This is incorrect and I hate this type of situation".

He spent the last few days in London catching up with friends and it is understood he is aware of the interest in reappointing him at Chelsea.

A bullish Conte said: "I think that around us there is a lot of b******t".

Conte revealed that N'Golo Kante and Victor Moses will not be fit for the Bournemouth clash, while Danny Drinkwater is unlikely to feature twice in a week, having made his return from a calf problem against Everton on Wednesday.
