Tom Ince puts Manchester United win down to "mentality"

Appearances have been harder to come by for Tuanzebe this term, as Tuesday's 2-0 EFL Cup win at Swansea City was his first appearance of the campaign.

The Red Devils suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town at the John Smith Stadium on Saturday afternoon following first-half goals from Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre. "It was good. We were solid, we were comfortable, we were in control". "We were in the game from the first minutes, pressing and forcing things, the attitude was good".

Mourinho said after victory over Burton in the previous round that United would be better off without this competition on their itinerary, suggesting they would be fresher for Europe.

However, Mourinho has confirmed the defender is in contention to face Spurs at Old Trafford this weekend.

Ince commented that United "don't really play with the same fluidity as your Spurs or your Man Citys, " claiming "They build up the game quite slow". I chose to play with three because Victor was not coming with his confidence levels very, very high, so I made a decision to play both with the experience of Smalling and we were ok. "Axel I think he started a little bit shaky but then he got stability and had also a good performance".

Clement was in awe of United's talent after Jose Mourinho brought on Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic late on in the game, and the Swansea manager added that some of his own youngsters on the fringes of their Premier League side will be pushing for a start at Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.

"Apart from that, I have no news and no hopes [for any other players]".
