A Cricket Australia spokesperson confirmed there is doubt over his selection for Saturday's match in Ranchi, the first of three T20 matches against India.

Though India lost Rohit Sharma for just 11 (7) early in the chase, Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli clinched the victory for their team with three balls to spare.

Series: The last time Australia played at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi was almost seven months ago, the third match of a hotly-contested four-Test series against India which ended 3-1 in India's favour.

After loosing the series of 50 overs match by 4-1, Indian cricket team earned first place in the worldwide ODI rankings. David Warner and Aaron Finch would look to carry on their fine touch & inspire their team but it's skipper Smith who might have to look inwards to rediscover his best form. Picking specialist players for formats, picking mystery bowlers (Kuldeep), giving them confidence.

The rain came down with Australia struggling on 118 for eight in 18.4 overs after being tied down by India's spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. I'm looking forward to playing more games with him in Australian colours.

As far as weather conditions are concerned, rain threat does loom large over the city of Ranchi tomorrow as a cyclonic circulation is over eastcentral Bay of Bengal and is likely to move northwestwards.

Daniel Christian was run out by Indian captain Virat Kohli on the first delivery of the 19th over. But it was the batting that led them down, especially the collapse that we have seen so often after Finch's wicket.

When asked about the morale of the team, the right-arm pacer said, "The morale in the team is very good". You need to execute your yorkers and you have to have a strong head to take your chances against the batsmen.

Kuldeep Yadav was declared Man of the Match for his excellent and economical bowling.

"I always think about getting wickets and that's all that matters for me and the team".
