Amazon's recently released Echo Plus and Echo Spot will also benefit other supply chain makers, including Foxconn Electronics (ODM), Merry Electronics (acoustic components), Ability Opto-Electronics Technology (optical lenses) and Chicony Electronics (power supply).

The problem with the Echo Show is that it was unable to show users their subscriptions or recommendations, two key features on YouTube that Google needs to ensure growth and user engagement. The Google Manhattan device will support YouTube, Google Photos, Google Assistant and video calling.

Just days after Amazon announced the Echo Show would be available in more countries worldwide, 9to5Google has received a couple of anonymous tips that say Google is planning its very own competitor device. The "Manhattan" product, then, would give Google customers another reason to stick with Google-made home devices, despite the allure of Alexa playing jams and displaying song lyrics on the Echo Show's screen.

Internally known as "Manhattan", the home screen will feature something like the 7-inch display that can be found on the Echo Show.

After Amazon's event earlier this week there will shortly be a formidable amount different versions Amazon Echoes on the market.

Amazon also unveiled tiny "Echo Button" devices that can be configured to work and control an Amazon Echo. The publication AFTVnews released leaked images of a new Fire TV Stick and Fire TV box that appeared to have increased Alexa capabilities, bolstering rumors that the streaming device was getting an update of its own. And the user's phone number will be displayed as caller ID. This device has a price tag of $35. The latest version of the device will now support 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) videos with 2160p resolution at the rate of 60 frames per second. Google is reportedly talking to Best Buy's Geek Squad and Enjoy for home installation, suggesting the product will not be as portable as the Echo Show. Though it seems it will end up getting released in 2018 as it's already the end of 2017 nearly.
