McCain, 32, is the daughter of Republican U.S. Senator and 2008 presidential nominee John McCain, who is now battling brain cancer.

McCain will be be the latest in the revolving door of conservative voices the show has introduced since the departure of Elisabeth Hasselbeck in 2013.

The outlet is reporting Meghan has signed on to join Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Paula Faris, and Sara Haines starting in October.

The View is seeing its highest ratings in three years, averaging almost 3 million viewers a day, fueled by the fraught political environment around the Trump administration.

It's been months of nearly nonstop shakeup at The View, where co-host after co-host has left the show. Over the years, "The View" has played a game of musical chairs with its co-hosts.

Meghan McCain is reportedly set to join "The View". Executive producer and former panelist Barbara Walters retired in 2014, and the show has included Rosie O'Donnell, Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez, Raven-Symoné, Michelle Collins and Candace Cameron Bure among its panelists.

Bila announced her resignation from the show a few days after Hillary Clinton came on to promote her new book, "What Happened". At that time, "The View" frequently made headlines for in-show fighting between co-hosts over different political views. "She will always be part of "The View" family, and we'll welcome her back to talk about her new projects".
