Motorola's Moto X4 Combines Amazon Alexa With Project Fi Connectivity

It's unknown whether Project Fi support will help increase the Moto X4's sales, but Motorola is pitching it as an important differentiating point. It packs 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal memory which is expandable with microSD. The camera also features phase-detection, dual-tone LED flash and has some interesting modes like bokeh effect, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording.

Notably, Moto X4 Android One version has started by the search giant for Project Fi exclusively in the US.

Motorola has launched a new color variant of the Moto E4 Plus smartphone in India.

The real surprise comes with the front camera, which gets a 16-megapixel sensor minus the front flash. The Android One Moto X4 is propelling with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. But that's not all: The Moto X4 will also be the first Android One phone available to purchase in the United States. The dual-camera setup comprises of a primary 12MP sensor with phase detection autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture lens paired with a secondary 8MP sensor that is coupled with an f/2.2 aperture lens.

Moto X4 will support Google's Project Fi, a wireless service that aims to give mobile users the best wireless connection regardless of where they are.

In addition to having two camera sensors on the back instead of one, Motorola has also upgraded the sensors. The Android One edition will come with a pure Android experience and Google has announced that it will receive Android Oreo update by the end of this year.

One of the major USP of this phone is its massive 5000mAh battery with 10W rapid charging.

The device does offer all the necessary features like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and WiFi hotspot.

However, the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo will be useful to all the Moto G4 Plus users as it will enhance the performance of their device. The Moto X4 is IP 68 certified, which means that it can withstand dust and water. Further, on the off chance that you exchange the old gadget for an Android One Moto X4 by October 5, you'll procure an additional $50 Fi credit.
