Destiny 2: Servers Will Be Down for Four Hours Today

Bungie let everyone power up for a week, but tomorrow will herald the opening of Destiny 2's first raid.

Bungie confirmed that the Leviathan raid will require 260 power level. This might be surprisingly low for some of you, but don't forget that Bungie has said that they want to make it easier for more people to try the Raids in Destiny 2 than in the original. It will take place at the same time of the weekly reset, which will reset the Nightfall, Flashpoint, Clan XP, Crucible Call to Arms, Weekly Challenges, and Eververse Bright Dust inventory. It is in fact entirely possible to reach higher level without taking part in the raid at all, with many players that are already at around 300. It's why with Destiny 2, I've jumped in from the get go, and I couldn't be happier. The work will include early maintenance, as well as swapping over certain weekly events, as detailed in the game's first month roadmap.

According to a post on Bungie's site, it's not only the game that won't be working.

Although Bungie did not specify the gauntlet-and the company has not returned a request for comment-Redditors quickly discerned that the "Road Complex AA1", pictured above, fits the bill.

In order to access the Raid, simply select the Leviathan icon in the top right corner of the Director, which you can see in the image below.

Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the Raid launch.
