The game started well with MI coming out to a 14-7 lead and gaining 155 yards in the first quarter. Moore finished 17-for-28 for 151 yards. Cincy cuts UM lead to 17-14.

Redshirt junior quarterback Wilton Speight led Michigan's offense right down the field for a touchdown on a 43-yard bomb to sophomore receiver Kekoa Crawford to open the game, but it would be the first of only two offensive touchdowns the unit would score - the second not coming until late in the third quarter.

In addition to Clark's report, FSU announced Saturday afternoon that all classes had been canceled through next week, making it highly unlikely that a football game would be played on the campus. The Wolverines fumbled the punt, giving UC the ball at the MI 38-yard line. Freshman cornerback David Long left the game in the second half with a leg injury and his replacement Brandon Watson proceeded to hurt his shoulder, but Harbaugh said both players are fine and should be ready for Saturday.

MI fumbled three times Saturday, losing two. Next weekend, the two in-state rivals had been scheduled to meet in Tallahassee in a primetime clash that would double as a key ACC clash.

The Wolverines posted 215 rushing yards and 4.4 per carry to provide consistency in the offense. Fickell spent the last 18 seasons as an assistant and head coach at Michigan's archrival, Ohio State.

MADISON, Wis. - Freshman Jonathan Taylor ran for 223 yards and three touchdowns, Alex Hornibrook threw for 201 yards and a score, and No. 9 Wisconsin pulled away slowly from Florida Atlantic.

The defense added a final score for the Wolverines when Lavert Hill intercepted Hayden Moore and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown. Cincinnati receiver Kahlil Lewis could have made it worse if he didn't drop a sure touchdown with 13:20 remaining in the game.

The Wildcats scored five rushing TDs and gained 304 yards on the ground against Charlotte (0-2).

The Cincinnati Bearcats (1-0) are coming from a 26-14 win over the Austin Peay Governors last week. Attendance for the game was 111,384.
