It is a high-end phone so expect it to be priced above Rs 50,000 in India. The V30 looks more like the flagship G series as the front has a FullVision display that the flagship LG G6 came with, but the LG V30 has a 6 inch display. LG will definitely need this bad boy to rock all it can as it will go toe to toe with the formidable Galaxy Note 8 and the upcoming iPhone 8. With the LG V30, the South Korean company got everything right on the design front to make it a ideal competitor for the flagship Galaxy smartphones. The phone comes with ridiculously slim bezels allowing the display to take up over 80 per cent of its front side: a concept also seen in Xiaomi's futuristic Mi Mix and Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The LG V30 comes with 64GB/128GB built-in storage and supports expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card.

No details about the pricing or availability of the flagship LG V30 have been revealed yet.

Like the G6, the V30 is representative of LG's recent back-to-basics mindset and conscious move away from gimmicks, such as the G4's leather back and G5's modular design. Although previous leaks divulged a lot of essential information of the phone, it has finally been unveiled officially. Besides the large aperture, the camera also comes with support for OIS, EIS, and Hybrid Auto Focus with Laser Detection Auto Focus and Phase Detection Auto Focus. Google has further announced that its recently announced ARCore will be coming to the V30 in the days to come. That's a bit disappointing since the V2o was the first non-Google device launched with 7.0 Nougat.

While the home button on the back also has the fingerprint sensor on it, the LG V30 with Android 7.1.2 based LG's UX 6.0+ also has some other security features including facial recognition and voice recognition. For the voice recognition feature, a user needs to speak certain keywords he has saved to unlock the mobile device. Hence, LG's new features will mainly strike the fancy of professionals more. Secondary camera - 13-Megapixel with wide angle lens (120 degrees f/1.9). While typical cameras only allow one to zoom in on the center of the frame, Point Zoom allows users to zoom in on any subject smoothly using the zoom slider, regardless of its position in the frame, another industry first. The camera setup also comes with a Crystal Clear Lens for better colour reproduction. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is 5 megapixels.

Inside the LG there is powerful core hardware.

Underneath the device, you have a top-end Snapdragon 830 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Wireless charging feature and the USB Type-C also helps for the fast charging.

The LG V30 is heavily focused on imaging, optics and Hi-Fi audio. MQA captures the sound of the original studio master and folds it into a small file to make high-resolution audio easy to stream.

The V30 is IP68 water-resistant, meaning that it can withstand immersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
