The two brothers also can't play together, which is a little sad - because the Mario variant is for orange team, and the Luigi one's for the blue team.

Psyonix, developer of the award winning Rocket League, have revealed that Battle-Cars will be coming to the Nintendo version of Rocket League as an exclusive. It also bears a neon booster trail, making this one slick looking vehicle to use. More specifically the Mario NSR, Luigi MSR and Samus' Gunship will be available as downloadable content in the future. First we have the "Mario NSR" and "Luigi NSR" battle cars which are cartoony Mario and Luigi themed vehicles with red and green colors respectively and their large trademark M and L logos on the front of the auto.

Nintendo Switch Battle-Cars will be available exclusively for Switch owners without additional cost and you can unlock them for bonus style points. The Samus vehicle even features a "Wave Beam" rocket boost that is exclusive to that auto.

The news gets even better, all three cars will be free when the game launches on the Switch this holiday season. Psyonix has also said that Mario and Luigi-themed auto toppers will also be available as cosmetics in the Switch version, so it will be interesting to see what other Big N franchises are eventually given their due in Rocket League too.
