Here's When You Can Listen to the New Taylor Swift Single

While Swift has offered no clues about the sound or themes of "Reputation", public image has always been one of her favorite topics with lyricism that takes on the perceptions of her in the media.

Over the previous several days, Taylor has mysteriously wiped out her social media and posted a video of a slithering snake.

Reputation follows her colossal blockbuster 1989, which won album of the year in 2014. It's unlikely that she would wear a piece designed by Kanye West, considering the two had a falling out a year ago after Kim Kardashian posted recordings of a conversation between her husband and Swift over the "I made that bitch famous" lyrics in the song "Famous". Fans won't have to wait that long for new music, though.

The Shake It Off hitmaker is thought to be releasing the first single off her new album soon and it is expected to be different to anything she has done before.

On Monday, she shared a short, glitchy clip of a snake's tail, before uploading its curling body on Tuesday.

From Zac Efron and Harry Styles to John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal, it's safe to say that Taylor Swift has had her fair share of famous boyfriends.

Swifty has confirmed that her sixth album, named Reputation, is on its way. But before that, she revealed her hit single "Shake It Off" to the world on August 18.

Swift is reportedly overhauling her public image at the type of music she makes.

Take, for example, the album cover for the record, which depicts Swift in grayscale, clad in a distressed sweatshirt against a backdrop of manufactured newspaper headlines. She also opts for a slicked-back beachy wave rather than her flawless bob and bangs. That led to West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, snapchatting a recording of the phone call between Swift and West about the lyric, which Swift appears to give the green light to.
