On Wednesday, he announced on Twitter that he would appear on CBS' "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" on Monday, August 14. Colbert doesn't seem like The Mooch's most sympathetic audience, but The Mooch also seems like he doesn't turn down a PR opportunity - for better or worse. "We got the Mooch".

Scaramucci was just a few days into his new White House job when the New Yorker's Ryan Lizza published an interview which featured Scaramucci unleashing a torrent of vulgar assessments of his new colleagues, including calling Reince Priebus a "fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac", and demanding that Lizza expose his sources.

Scaramucci was removed the same day Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly was sworn-in.

So, the comedian chose to sign a parody of the Queen classic with the words: 'Momma, I just got canned.

Dozens of television interviewers have been vying to interview the man known as "Mooch". Colbert joked after Scaramucci was shown the way out.

Colbert said he plans to ask Scaramucci what it's like inside the Trump White House and "how loyal he feels the president is now". The former Wall Street financier was sacked July 31 after only 11 days on the job.

Colbert also lampooned Scaramucci's brief White House stint.

"It remains to be seen whether Scaramucci and Colbert will be blowing each other kisses by night's end", said USA Today.

TMZ reports that a Hollywood producer has been in touch with the former White House communications director, wanting to make either a film or a television series.
