The Dukes of Hazzard star was arrested on Wednesday (02Aug17) after he allegedly grabbed a woman's backside and put his fingers in between her butt cheeks.

TMZ reports that Tom Wopat-best known for playing Luke Duke on Dukes of Hazzard-allegedly assaulted a woman, reportedly placing his hands in her trousers. In another instance a woman says he peeled sunburned skin off her arm.

A statement from the Waltham, Mass., Police Department said Wopat, 65, was arrested in his vehicle on a warrant late Wednesday.

Police reportedly pulled the actor over in his Ford Bronco after an active search, TMZ reported. According to TMZ, he's also been charged with indecent assault and battery, which is considered a felony.

USA Today said police noted "two bags of white powder believed to be cocaine" were found in the auto so a drugs possession charge was added.

According to court documents, Wopat denied touching anyone.

As part of the conditions of his release, Wopat was ordered to stay away from Reagle Music Theatre, meaning he will not be a part of their production of "42nd Street". After all, their play was set to open Thursday night.

Wopat has worked steadily on stage and screen since the "Dukes of Hazzard", including a role in the A&E drama "Longmire".
