Rachel Lindsay Reveals Her One 'Bachelorette' Regret

And that's true for Rachel Lindsay as well.

After discussing the difficulties of having a tough to pronounce last name (something they can both relate to), Ashley said, "You actually told me that you want to take your wife's last name because you're desperate to get rid of 'Unglert'". Rachel reacted to DeMario and Lee in an interview with Entertainment Tonight following the special, revealing they're two of the contestants she's truly done with.

Lindsay herself also appeared on the special, where she explained why she didn't find out about the tweets immediately since filming The Bachelorette is like living in a bubble. Lee stammered out a very unsatisfactory answer about not liking racism, but being especially bummed that America discovered his racist tweets, as if that was the bigger issue. So, yes, this was perhaps one of the most honest conversations on race I've seen on television-particularly of the reality variety.

Then, the climax. Lee is brought on stage and asked to defend some old tweets, in which he compared the NAACP to the KKK and took some not-so-subtle jabs at women and feminism. A #Source reveals that Rachel will have her most hard elimination yet when she must choose between two of her suitors on the show. There are two schools of thought you can have going into it: either celebrate Rachel's proud African-American heritage, or you can completely disregard it and just treat it as a regular season.

"She's always going to have a piece of my heart, but I understand that door is closed."
He ended his time in the hot seat by saying, "I want to apologize to Rachel, too".

The Lee Garrett vs. Kenny King feud and the topic of racism was discussed frequently on the show and again during the Men Tell All reunion.

She continues, "It's not happening this year", she said, and added with a smile, "maybe next year". It's a brutal watch that's mostly guilt with little pleasure and the only way I see fit to digest what went down in the episode is to rank five of these clowns from simply bad to all-out garbage monsters. "My relationship meant a lot to them, and I am so glad that I was able to talk to them about it and how I felt about it". In the moment, I did love you. It's still pushing you to behave in a certain way towards Kenny, Eric, me in a way that you don't even recognize.

Lee replied, "I'm sorry, Rachel".

Lee: I did things that were wrong. And when I woke up and I saw that those came out, it hurt me a lot. "But in case you didn't, please know you could exit stage left and meet me backstage and I'd be more than happy to give you a black history lesson, a lesson on women's rights, you know what I'm saying?"

Said Lindsay: "You had such an wonderful opportunity to be surrounded by different people and different cultures and you didn't take advantage of that". Watch the season finale of The Bachelorette MONDAY 8|7c on ABC!

I'd say I don't think I'm ready yet, at this point in my life. "I don't know what world it is that he's living in, but I hope that he has learned so much from watching the show and that he can educate himself".
