Javier Hernandez rejected Spain and Italy move for West Ham United

"West Ham is showing more ambitions than last season, they want to do the same when they qualified for Europe and have done that in this window".

Mourinho made the comments in response to Hernandez signing a £16 million deal with West Ham United, ending the Mexico star's time with Bayer Leverkusen.

Chicharito also discussed Jose Mourinho, who praised recently praised the striker to media while also admitting he did not try to bring him back to Manchester United, and his return to Old Trafford for West Ham's first match of the Premier League season.

Javier Hernandez turned down the chance to play in Italy and Spain in order to sign for West Ham.

West Ham United forward Andre Ayew has revealed that he is "feeling good" ahead of the upcoming 2017/18 campaign and is hopeful that having a full pre-season with his team-mates will serve him much better after joining the club just five days before the big kick-off previous year.
