Former Michigan State WR Jermaine Edmondson and girlfriend Bianca Williams are suing Warriors forward Draymond Green for an incident in East Lansing, Mich., last July. Edmondson said before he could even respond, two men, who were with Green, grabbed him and choked him against a wall. Bloom's press statement asserted that she was "proud to represent the accusers as they demand accountability and an apology from Mr".

"I am hopeful and confident this will be resolved soon", Green said to ESPN.

An East Lansing police report states that Edmondson and his girlfriend were both grabbed by the throat by Green's associates on July 8 of previous year.

Green's plea deal reduced the charges from misdemeanor assault to a noise violation and civil infraction, which carried a $500 fine and $60 in jail restitution.

Bloom says she will hold a news conference at 9:00 a.m. this morning to further explain the lawsuit.

Edmondson and Williams allege that they encountered Green again at a different establishment the following night, when the alleged physical assault occurred. "I still feel his hand on my jaw", Edmonson said at the press conference. I don't understand why my name has been turned into a joke while he gets all the credit for being a superstar and standing up for women.

Green revealed that he won't be commenting on the issue as his attorney is taking care of it.

In July of 2016, Edmondson said that Green hit him in the face after an encounter with the National Basketball Association player for a second-straight night. He said Green came over to the couple and looked over his girlfriend.
